"Sugar" Rashad Evans said the UFC Light Heavyweight Title on Saturday night, becoming in victory after defeating Forrest Griffin. Evans has improved his record to 18-0-1 after an outstanding victory.

The fight started quite thorough, with both boxers to measure each other. Griffin leg cast occasionally notorious beating up, and connected very well in most. However, Rashad exchanged positions along the fight to allow the vaccines are balanced between the two legs, instead of taking pictures with only your left.

It was a very smart strategy, given account of how cycle kicks Griffin Quinton Jackson went to his left leg and knee when he was defeated by Griffin by unanimous decision at UFC 86.

The fight would for a tour with the fighters still in size each, and Griffin will significantly kicking and winning the first round. However, Evans is known for having the first round completely and almost giving. It was essentially a free program for Forrest Griffin. This is exactly what Evans had to UFC 88 against Chuck "The Liddell" Iceman.

But as the second round heated Griffin keep it up and Evans seemed to have lost the round. Some combinations were exchanged, and the tower was much closer, with Evans to gain confidence, but Griffin has been very accurate with his kicks and their disposal.

The fight was in the third round, and various combinations strikers were thrown by both fighters. About a minute through the third round, Evans caught a kick and launched a series of punches that sent Griffin to the canvas. A gust blows followed, and the fight seemed to be called every second. Griffin would recover, however, and defend very well. For a moment it seemed that he could Evans Griffin trap and place in a triangle choke, but Evans would only open more surprising.

It landed some solid blows to the side of the head, forcing the head of Griffin criticized the canvas, and followed with a series of blows on the chin until referee Herb Dean calls the fight at 2:46 in the third.

"I knew I was in trouble," Evans finally say that after the impressive victory in the championship. It was all I could say. Evans has been very humble in victory, and he just took all in

It has built a worldwide reputation in MMA. With his fast hands, a capability exceptional and technology without trouble, "Sugar" Rashad Evans has risen to the top of the mountain, probably the most stacked division in the UFC weight while maintaining a 18-win record and flawless.

This weight class is also known to be in possession of relays rather short, mainly because the large amount of competition for the fighters of the division each time they enter the Octagon. Evans has held so far, overcoming some of the competition known before the title match Saturday night. It seems built for a long career as a champion, and a long list of talented wrestlers are in the wait a photograph. Evans is more than up to the challenge, and his confidence is probably through the roof. His most recent fights have been impressive wins all highly regarded fighters in large scenes.

A title defense against Quinton "Rampage" Jackson seems imminent, but for now, Rashad Evans is taking this in, savoring the taste of victory sweeter than sugar.
