All the great martial arts has its day. For Anderson Silva, who is 34 years old, his time is almost up. However, history will show that it was the best pound for pound fighter in the MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) and UFC (Ultimate Fighter Challenge).

Anderson Silva has begun training for 14 years in tae kwon do and got his first black belt at age 18. His second is a black belt in judo. He began his career at age 25 with losses, but then won his next nine fights, including hunting previously undefeated 18-0 Japan, Hayato Sakurai.

With a record 15 wins and four defeats, Silva joined the UFC and 28 June, 2006 ₩ from UFC debut with a KO over 15 and a Chris Lubin. His second UFC fight was held on October 14, 2006 and won the championship title UFC middleweight Rich Franklin, who at the time of a record 20 victories and one defeat. His record with the UFC is a record of nine wins and no losses, with five defenses of his middleweight title. Silva the only fighter in UFC history to post nine wins in a row.
