Anderson Silva (23-4) vs.. Thales Leites (14-1)
If you look back at past struggles Anderson, the only word that comes to mind is the destruction. However, the only fight that never had a problem with Anderson was against Travis Lutter. If you remember Travis Lutter was a jiu-jitsu black belt, got Silva to the canvas and got up to the blows of the rain. You can guarantee a lot in the world of MMA, but one thing I can guarantee is that if you can do that Leites Silva then we have a new middleweight champion. It is fair to good on the ground. With everything that is said ……
Silva 2nd Round KO
Chuck Liddell (21-6) vs. Shogun Rua (17-3)
This battle took me puzzled as announced. Power side you have the Iceman, who just won a loss of the most brutal in the history of MMA Knockout. It was more dominant on heavy, seen in this generation, UFC star first and a fan favorite. The questions have been followed since its defeat in the first round at UFC 71 Rampage and his knockout at UFC 88 has not helped. Look, I can stay here and go on and on, but the fact the question is Chuck is a stubborn man. It has flaws like every other fighter, and he took his loss to Rashad get addressed. He worked with Howard Davis, American Top Team. This could result in the old ice man, construc-drilling nightmare that saw the destruction of opponents. Shogun, the other was widely regarded as the best books on the planet 205 years ago. Who has been expelled for football and Stomps refused and a knee injury against Forrest Griffin attributed to a very poor performance, at least in his first UFC fight. However, its performance against Mark Coleman was sad and pathetic. Shogun is so gifted and talented to not be surprised if the Iceman has been one that has brought the best of Shogun. If not fully healed and I totally healthy Shogun beats Chuck. If not, then it is the responsibility thawing. What do you think?
Liddell TKO 3
Krzysztof Soszynski (17-9) vs.. Brian Stann (6-1)
This fight promises to be a war standup. Stann made a name for himself with his battles against Steve Cantwell, and I think it will follow the same path. Soszynski is forced to bind to and Stann will win by KO.
Cheick Kongo (23-4-1) VS. Antoni Hardonk (8-4)
The hottest heavyweight on the planet is now time to buy with this fight against Hardonk. If he wins I have to believe he has his title shot or at least a # 1 contender match with Shane Carwin. Kongo is so good. His standup is worthy of the best in the division and feet, will strike anyone. His weakness is on the mat, where he was exposed in the past. I do not think Hardonk can happen to him before he was knocked out. Kongo be patient and call the second opening round.
Steve Cantwell (7-1) vs. Luis Cane (10-1)
I am a big fan of Luis Cane. It looked very well against Sokoudjou and I think Cantwell, the best bet is to try to lower. I think if still on, lay down principles of good will. I think the cane is a second level of light and heavy Cantwell is not.
Cane by TKO Round 1
