Chuck Liddell vs. Wanderlei Silva UFC 79

Do you have trouble choosing a winner here! There is an interesting background of all this. This struggle has been under development since the early `06 and probably before that date, simply do not know. It has the makings of a great war and are expected to live up to the hype!

In July 2006 at UFC 61, Dana Smith brought the crowd of UFC and puts it in the cage. This is before the subscription Pride around so this was a great event at the time, always known that the organization had better quality fighters. Wandy gets the microphone and says he wants to fight the best in the UFC, namely, Mr. Iceman, Chuck is well and that just looks down. The announcement was fighting to be in November, with a stipulation, Chuck beat Renato Sobral "Babalu" in August and retain its title.

* Side note: Babalu kicked out of UFC for abandonment is not a bottleneck in a later post Anti Reference told him to stop when beat his opponent, it is! *

August came and went and Babalu, jiu-jitsu black belt tries to go after Chuck feet. As expected, took a little nap in the ring and now fight with Silva would be going in November, except for one big problem. Wanderlie Cro-Cop kicked in the head with bad intentions in September on the weight of Pride tournament. Now, do not know if it was painful, but the fight never happened. There were plenty of reasons floating around, but who knows for a fact that is truth. Anyway does not matter. Combat is removed, and seemed to be forever. Rumors come and go, but the owners of UFC, the Pride Ferttitas purchased. What establishment of a great movement against the best the best! So a lot of things happened, but the fight is now 29 December!

I usually intuition that I think it will win, but this time I'm not sure. Both fighters have lost their last 2 fights. KO Wandy won twice (Henderson & Cro Cop), Chuck was rocked by Rampage and then lost a brutal battle for the average Dean Keith Jardine. The mental game has to be a factor now. These guys are used to having their hands raised a 2 game losing streak has to affect mentally, you can not! Chuck went so far to seek help from Tony Robbins to help you get the fire again as it really seemed to shine offense against Jardine. More than just a couple of guys they want proof that a career of fighting for both. Someone leaves his record indicating that SSS and kill the state event principal and the assertion of ownership by a very long time. The victory breaks the ranks, however. Thus, if the stress of losing two fights before was not enough, throw this in the mix for them!

Chuck registration is from 20 to 5. Using 2003 as a cutoff point is 8 to 4. I use 2003 as an indicator of recent performance, as moving all fighters in his career. I see many wrestlers on the list of opponents. Who lost to Randy Couture, who immediately revealed himself as a Hall of Fame, again and again. Fight 2 times and knocks him out both times. It is Tito's dream 2 times. I think he understood the wrestlers, except for one. Quinton Jackson. As Iceman number Tito Jackson Cores. It has 2 straight losses to Rampage both by knockout. The rest of his fights were against some good fighters, but not high by any means. The support is in the fight against Jardine. That was still a bet about the UFC game for him helped him to return to normal after losing the belt to Rampage. Well, sure shot back. It lost a decision that puts him back, back in the rankings! Fortunately for him, is probably the most famous UFC fighter around and after 2 losses in row, which always gets a co-main event of his third fight. I'm sure there are many fighters who have obtained the possibility of the UFC. Correction, there are none.

Quinton Jackson's name comes up again when you look at Wandy's record. Except it is Instead, Silva knocked out Rampage 2 times! As they say, is all about style. This in no way shape or form, confirms that he can beat Chuck, but is a statistic interesting! Silva is 10 to 4 from 2003 with a list of opponents. Increased number of notable victories Sakuraba, Jackson, Arona, and Fujita. Vi Fujita beat Bob Sapp (google Sapp him and see how big is 350 pounds of muscle) and impressed that just manhandled a monster in Sapp. I was even more impressed when Silva won The technical knockout over him. A large difference in the World Pride is that eventually beat the guys that have more impact on the weight of the tournament. When Wanderlei beat Mark Hunt, who was in a handicap weight of 80 pounds, but he went into the fight, but lost the decision. It has been felt by many that he deserved the win given the difference of enormous size. Their four losses Hunt, Arona, Henderson and Cro Cop. If you lose 4 fights, these are the guys who will help you do.

I always say Silva was better to meet competition, is a bold statement since Chuck Couture twice. I would say that returns the position as good as Couture and Chuck Smith has an advantage about the fighters as he is good standing, which was shot down. I have yet to see him retire. That alone is impressive. Silva is a fighter, but a black belt in BJJ and a fighting position with stunning talent until his return. BJJ Take out of the equation, however, wants the latch, no way will be a battlefield. The box comes into play as Silva is used for a ring, sounds like a small thing, but it's a mental barrier for kids to come. Silva moved to Florida and trains at Extreme Couture (formed there with Ray!), So I'm sure you're ready to adjust. Both men want to redeem themselves after 2 losses.

Silva – 2nd round.
