Who is the next UFC welterweight title fight?
Who do you think deserves a shot at the welterweight title? I think Josh Koscheck should be # 1. Do you think that other wrestlers like Matt Hughes, Diego Sanchez, Georges St. Pierre and are more worthy? If so, why Why? I may be able to see Matt Hughes, but San Pedro and Sanchez are both coming from the losses. Koscheck looks like the best fighter today, even though his victory over Sanchez was not flashy or a KO or submission, entered into a plan to give a loss of Diego and did exactly that. Matt Hughes will be the next fight against Matt Serra for Welterweight Title UFC. Dana White, president of Zuffa, announced this during the post-fight press conference after UFC 69, when Serra beat Georges St. Pierre and won the title. The contract for the official control, of course, has not been signed that night, but the fight for the UFC welterweight title from Matt Serra will follow them and Matt Hughes. GSP will be fighting against Josh Koscheck at UFC 74 in August and the winner will fight for the title face or Hughes or Serra.
