There are three core elements that guarantee a win in a street fight every time and every situation. It sounds very simplistic, of course, but experienced no expert in self-defense to refute these three truths that, when combined, create almost 100% probability of winning.

Once you see them, you will understand why.

Secret # 1: Be aware and prepared

Awareness and preparation are essential for self-defense. In the film, the criminal leap from the shadows and odd lines like "Hand it over, bub." In fact, criminals often know exactly what he wants and shoot first and ask questions later.

Remember: the criminal street mentality is based on cowardice. Have they been brave and courageous, not street thugs that are something a little more success. Politicians may be. Because the street criminals are cowards who never cede the advantage of surprise on their victims, announcing themselves.

Being fully aware of your surroundings at all time and ready to attack at some point, you take more advantage of surprise out of them. Very often, when faced with a withdrawal of the victim smart and brave bullies and non-violence never happens.

Secret # 2: Win the first strike

The first links it secret (you'll see a synergy between the three). Pulling criminal realizes that the surprise was not absolute, but not to retreat, then a real fight the street. Most battles only last a few seconds, and most battles are won by the person making the first attack of strong and deliberate. Very often, of course, is the gangster who is willing to violence since the beginning when the victim is usually not violent by nature, and adapted.

The street criminals who will stop when they are not surprised are those who have learned this: most people are not willing to commit violence and will do anything to avoid it. Not that people are generally cowards, is that we instinctively know to avoid conflict (flight) is usually the best way to stay healthy. What we forget, thanks to our modern lifestyle is the other half of our drives are almost completely built for combat.

The first All disputes strike on the street is almost always successful. So, if the criminal attacks and fighting decisive that it had obtained the advantage of attacking first. Even if all I did was to bite his nose or flexion of the wrist pain that says he is now at the top of the situation. So retirement is generally in order.

Secret # 3: Get Away Those living

This may seem intuitive-cons, in comparison with other two, but is part of the overall strategy of combining the fight against the success of the street. Unlike movies, real street fight to defend means put the home safe and healthy. This is not beating someone senseless or administer justice. It is a matter of survival.

Once the fight is over, if the blows were or not, do not hang around. Do not chase thugs on the run, do not stand over them and celebrate their victory, and not try to drag to the authorities. Go to the police and go with them, but no offense to the police. It may have friends or could come to their senses. In both cases, is facing an opponent (or opponents). Just because who won the first time does not mean that again.

If the escape of prisoners because they tied it, drag it to the police, or give chase, the problem of police and not yours. His only goal in a street fight is walking wounded. That's all.

These three points are the basis to survive a street encounter. If you are attacked by a drunk, assaulted by a rapist, or a jump by an aggressor, it will almost certainly be triumphant if he wins all three of these benefits.

Remember: awareness, first strike, evasion.
